Job Description
The Technical Project Manager (TPM) is responsible for planning, executing, and delivering complex technical projects across cross-functional teams, ensuring alignment with business goals, timelines, and budgets. This role bridges the gap between technical teams and business stakeholders by translating requirements, managing risks, and driving execution using Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall methodologies.
The ideal candidate has a strong technical background, exceptional organizational skills, and proven experience managing end-to-end project lifecycles in fast-paced environments.
Job Responsibilities
Technical Skills
Strong understanding of software development lifecycles (SDLC)
Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
Knowledge of APIs, databases, system integrations, and infrastructure concepts
Experience working with DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and release management
Understanding of cybersecurity, data privacy, and compliance best practices
Project Management Skills
Expertise in Agile, Scrum, Kanban, and/or Waterfall methodologies
Proficiency with project management tools (Jira, Confluence, MS Project, Smartsheet, Asana, Monday.com)
Strong documentation, reporting, and roadmap planning skills
Leadership & Communication
Exceptional communication and stakeholder management abilities
Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and negotiation skills
Ability to manage competing priorities in high-pressure environments
Proven leadership without direct authority
Required Experience & Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
5+ years of experience managing technical or IT projects
Proven track record delivering complex, cross-functional projects on time and within budget
Experience working directly with software engineering and infrastructure teams
Hands-on experience in Agile/Scrum environments
