Job Description
The Mechanical Engineer is responsible for designing, analyzing, and improving mechanical systems and components across products and processes. This role applies engineering principles to develop reliable, cost-effective, and manufacturable solutions while collaborating with cross-functional teams to support product development and operational excellence.
Job Responsibilities
Design mechanical components, systems, and assemblies
Develop specifications, drawings, and technical documentation
Perform engineering calculations, simulations, and tolerance analysis
Support prototyping, testing, and validation activities
Identify and resolve design, performance, and manufacturability issues
Collaborate with manufacturing, quality, and supply chain teams
Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations
Skills + Experience
Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, CATIA, or similar)
Strong understanding of mechanics, thermodynamics, and materials
Problem-solving and analytical skills
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
PE license or EIT preferred (role-dependent)
