Job Description
The Cybersecurity Analyst is responsible for protecting organizational systems, networks, and data from cyber threats. This role monitors security events, conducts risk assessments, responds to incidents, and ensures compliance with security policies and regulatory standards.
Job Responsibilities
Security Monitoring & Incident Response
Monitor security alerts and investigate potential threats
Respond to security incidents and coordinate remediation efforts
Perform vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
Risk Management & Compliance
Conduct risk assessments and recommend mitigation strategies
Support compliance with security frameworks and regulations
Maintain security documentation, policies, and procedures
Security Operations
Implement and manage security tools and controls
Collaborate with IT teams to improve security posture
Educate users on security awareness and best practices
Skills + Experience
Knowledge of cybersecurity principles, tools, and frameworks
Experience with SIEM, endpoint protection, and vulnerability management
Strong analytical and investigative skills
Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field preferred
Security certifications (Security+, CISSP, CEH) a plus
