Job Description

The Business Development Representative (BDR) is responsible for generating and qualifying new business opportunities through outbound and inbound outreach efforts. This role focuses on building a strong sales pipeline by identifying prospects, initiating conversations, and scheduling qualified meetings for Account Executives.

This position is ideal for motivated individuals looking to grow a career in sales and business development

Job Responsibilities

Lead Generation & Prospecting

  • Conduct outbound prospecting via phone, email, LinkedIn, and other channels

  • Qualify inbound leads and assess prospect needs

  • Research target companies, industries, and decision-makers

Pipeline Development

  • Schedule discovery calls and meetings for Account Executives

  • Maintain accurate prospect and activity records in CRM systems

  • Track outreach metrics and lead conversion rates

Collaboration & Continuous Improvement

  • Work closely with sales and marketing teams on campaigns and messaging

  • Participate in sales training and coaching sessions

  • Provide feedback on prospect objections, messaging effectiveness, and market trends

Skills + Experience

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Confidence in cold calling and outbound outreach

  • Resilience, persistence, and goal-oriented mindset

  • Ability to manage high activity levels and performance metrics

  • Prior sales, customer service, or outreach experience preferred
